DO IT is a task manager. Your tasks live in a database on your own device. This page says exactly what leaves it, where that goes, and how you undo it.

Without an account

Nothing leaves your machine. There are no analytics, no trackers and no ads, and the app never phones home about how you use it. The one network request the app makes on its own is checking for app updates, which downloads a version file and, when you choose, the update itself.

With an account

Accounts are optional and exist for one reason: keeping your devices in sync. If you sign in, we store:

This data is stored on our server, hosted on Fly.io in Paris, and travels only over encrypted connections. We do not read it, sell it, share it or use it to train anything. Sign-in code emails are delivered by Resend.

Voice capture

When you speak your tasks, the recording is sent to Google's Gemini API to be turned into tasks, either through our server or directly with your own API key, and the resulting tasks come back to your device. We do not keep recordings or transcripts; we keep only a count of how many captures your account has used. Audio is processed under Google's API terms.

Deleting your account

Delete account, in the app's settings, erases your account, your synced task data and your sessions from the server permanently. The tasks on your devices stay yours, on your devices. One anonymous fingerprint of your email address remains; it exists only so free voice captures cannot be reset by deleting and re-creating an account, and it cannot be turned back into your address.
